Caitlin

Hat: Vintage, New York - $10
Dress: American Apparel - $40
Bag: Vintage Louis Vuitton (op shop) - $2
Shoes: Jeffery Campbell - $100

Caitlin has one of the best wardrobes of anyone I know, so finding clothes for her to wear wasn't hard. She's got a great eye for vintage and when I saw that bag in particular I knew I had to use it. Caitlin is studying Media and Communications and Graphic Design at the University of Wollongong. I'll be going back through her wardrobe again in the future.

Jenna

Singlet (worn as dress): Sebastian Tellier $40 (New York)
Scarf (as shawl): Stussy $40

Jenna is my next door neighbour and a first year Chemistry student at the University of Sydney. This is really not her style - it was actually the first time she'd teased her hair out, but it definitely will not be the last.
More from this shoot later.

Kate and Declan

Sunglasses: Paddys Markets - $5
Shoes: Converse Hi Top - Leather (New York) $40
Overalls: King Gee - Op Shop $20
Singlet (Cut From Shirt): New York -$3
Necklace: TopShop $4

Kate is my housemate, a first year student studying at the Sydney Conservatorium. This isn't really her style but she was a fantastic model and really enthusiastic.
Declan is my best friend and lives about fifty metres down the road. What he may have lacked in modelling ability he more than made up for in ribs and perfect skin.

Welcome

Hey
Welcome to Peaches and Luigi.
The principle of this blog is that I want to show that fashion isn't as exclusive as people think.
You don't have to be rich and you don't have to have god given good looks.
I plan to fill this blog with shoots of normal people (mostly friends / neighbours) wearing normal clothes taken with nothing more than a $5 disposable camera. No one involved in the shoots is a professional in the fashion industry in any way.
It's just a bit of fun, and hopefully proof that in the real world you can't buy cool.
